Around 20 million residents live within a 3-hour driving distance from LA/Ontario International Airport. Its many attractions make it a perfect destination for a one-day trip or a weekend getaway.

The Inland Empire is easily accessed thanks to its comprehensive freeway network. Freeways in the IE are generally less congested than those in Los Angeles and Orange counties, and parking for most parts of the IE are free or at very low costs. LA/Ontario International Airport (ONT) provides convenient air service for visiting the Inland Empire. Nine airlines provide daily flights to major destinations in the U.S. and Guadalajara and Mexico City, Mexico. Please visit ONT’s website for information on its airlines, parking, and ground transportation options.
Visitors may also visit parts of the Inland Empire by utilizing Metrolink, Southern California’s commuter rail service. Amtrak connections are made through the Union Station in Downtown Los Angeles.
