In October, the county comes alive with spooky Halloween events! Free festivities are endless for locals and visitors alike. Compete in a costume contest, walk around mountain and city main streets and trick-or-treat until your bag is overflowing or experience the ultimate holiday destination: Skypark @ Santa’s Village.

There are a number of great October events for children and families to enjoy fall in San Bernardino County all around Big Bear, Lake Arrowhead, Ontario and Redlands. Read on!

BIG BEAR

Halloween in The Village

Celebrate Halloween at Big Bear Village. With more than 50 places to trick-or-treat, kids and their families suit up in their costumes and walk through the village to pick up as many goodies as they can.

LAKE ARROWHEAD

Skypark@Santa’s Village

SkyPark at Santa’s Village is celebrating one more holiday before Christmas. The Pumpkins in The Pines Harvest Festival sprinkles in seasonal activities along with their fun attractions for a festive autumn festival in the mountains. This year, the seasonal event also includes Skate Night – a themed night of fun on wheels. Plus, the evening festivities will come alive with a Halloween Party featuring a live performance!

Halloween at Lake Arrowhead Village

A fun-filled Halloween at the famous Lake Arrowhead Village. Kids come dressed for the annual costume contest for a chance to win a prize! It’s a family-friendly events as children and families roam the village enjoying trick-or-treating & live performances such as Thriller & other dances by the Lake Arrowhead School of Dance at Center Stage.

ONTARIO

Halloween Costume Parade and Contest 

Gather around for an afternoon of family fun and spooky delights. Children ages 8 and younger and families are welcomed to dress up in their best costumes to celebrate the holiday and win great prizes. From most creative to creepiest costume, there are a number of categories to showcase the best dressed. Participants will receive a trick or treat bag, participation ribbon and refreshments. Winners in each category will receive 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Honorable Mention ribbons.

REDLANDS 

Downtown Redlands – Safe Trick-or-Treat

Historic Downtown Redlands is putting the treat in “trick-or-treat.” The City of Redlands is providing safe trick-or-treating in Historic Downtown Redlands. City volunteers and Downtown storefronts will be passing out candy while supplies last. Enjoy the holiday festivities in the awesome downtown area.

Trunk or Treat Festival

It’s a free evening of family fun this Halloween! The Trunk or Treat Festival brings the festivities of Halloween and the fun of a carnival in one place featuring a bounce house, carnival games, free candy, costumes and more. It is an all ages event great for kids, friends and families. Join in on the fun this Halloween and don’t forget your costumes!
