This Christmas Season Santa is taking a break from toy making, instead, he’s making the most of the Christmas season in San Bernardino County. From now through the new year, the jolly elf himself will be enjoying all of the wild wintertime adventures that California’s Outdoor Playground has to offer; from his snowy mountain home in Arrowhead at Santa’s Village to the busy shopping malls in the surrounding valley and back up to the vast High Desert, Santa is finding all of the best that San Bernardino County has to offer. From Sand to Snow, here is a roundup of Santa’s top five holiday events in San Bernardino County.

 

Santa’s Village 

Santa’s adventure-filled holidays start with a month-long Christmas celebration in his mountain home, SkyPark at Santa’s Village located near Lake Arrowhead. Grab your SkyPark Adventure Passport and join Santa for ice skating, rock climbing, sharpshooting, ax throwing, archery and so much more! Grab a bite to eat with Santa at his breakfast party, decorate cookies with the elves or have tea with Mrs. Claus. Be sure to catch special performances throughout the month including puppet shows, tree lightings, and interactive storytelling at various locations throughout the Park.

 

Big Bear 

Glow Tubing

Christmas in the Village in Big Bear Village is a winter wonderland this time of year, the town is covered in snow and decorated with twinkling lights. Join Santa and Mrs. Clause every weekend from now until December 22nd as they welcome visitors to join them for photos, shopping, and delicious food. After your visit with Santa, don’t miss out on Glow Tubing at night! When the sun goes down, the slopes are lit with color. Both Alpine Slide and Big Bear Snow Play will be open for night tubing Fridays, Saturdays, and Holidays beginning Nov. 29 from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

 Santa Comes to Summit

Snow Summit at The Big Bear Mountain Resort is home to some of the best skiing and snowboarding in Southern California. Santa will be high atop Snow Summit to greet the adventure seekers and pose for photos against the snowy backdrop of the mountain.

Ontario Mills

The Rainforest Cafe at Ontario Mills is a wild place! Join Santa on Saturdays in December for a special Breakfast Buffet in a realistic indoor rainforest, complete with lush vegetation, tropical rainstorms, elephants and gorillas. In addition to brunch, attendees can win raffle prizes, and there will be goodie bags for the kids, fun activities, and all guests will be offered an exclusive retail discount for the event only.

Yucca Valley

This holiday concert series features more than one hundred musicians playing selections of festive family-friendly holiday tunes.
