Twentynine Palms, CA, April 8, 2017 – The Twentynine Palms Historical Society has the venue. They have food and drinks. They even have entertainment. All they need now is YOU at their 4th Annual Desert Chic Social, to be held on 8 April from 4:30 to 7:30, at the Broadview Hacienda.
Members and non-members are invited to experience the beauty of this historic Twentynine Palms home while you enjoy the camaraderie of old and new friends; have a nibble, a tasty treat, and a cool drink; enjoy a bit of blues music from Bill and Bob. All this and more as you relax and soak in the view from Broadview, the historic residence of pioneers Bill and Prudie Underhill. There will also be a silent auction of treasures you won’t be able to resist.
This event is to raise funds to help the Society continue to preserve our local history and culture and to help keep the doors of the Old Schoolhouse Museum open. Tickets are available for a minimum donation of $25 for Society members and $30 for non-members. This is a minimum and larger donations will be greatly appreciated. Pre-sale tickets are available at the Old Schoolhouse Museum, 6760 National Park Dr., 29 Palms. Tickets will also be available at the door. Dress is desert casual.
